Struggle to keep up with all the changes in your world?
Many self-aware professionals are feeling the emotional and cognitive load of rapid change from AI and polycrisis.
You don't have to navigate it alone.
The vision behind Free From Answers
I'm Will Gao, a change coach who helps self-aware professionals live life more fully by embracing change inside and out.
I became more resilient, confident, and a stronger leader by moving through multiple consecutive major life events: immigration, losing a parent, marriage & divorce, employer collapse...
I'm informed by 7 years working in the extremely fast-paced field of AI. If you're carrying the weight of rapid change in your work and life, I don't blame you if you're exhausted. I was there too.
The turning point
Not long ago, I led a team of AI engineers at a consulting firm. The salary was great, and so were my teammates. But the org culture? Stretched thin, misaligned, and quietly burning people out. Most of the team left. I had seen enough.
And yet—I'd also seen what could work. When I was leading that team, we built something precious: high trust, shared clarity, and space to create solutions amidst chaos. New hires were up to speed and making impact within a week. It didn't take heroics—just honest listening and aligned design.
Since stepping away, I've become even more curious. Curious about the quiet wisdom carried by people navigating broken systems. Curious about what changes when we stop performing and start asking better questions—out loud, and in our bones.
What if the next decision I make could come from a place of deeper knowing?
